The Up Special Move (commonly referred to as Up-B) is a special move that a character may perform that involves by pressing the designated button while holding the up key. It is usually used for recovery purposes, but there are exceptions to this, such as Jigglypuff's Up-B Sing. The up special move is implemented in the same fashion in SSF2 as the means of a recovery move.
