Trey Cahalan, also known as Tac3, is a SSF2 developer who works on Adobe Flash effects and a small part of balancing.
History[]
Trey was introduced to the Super Smash Flash series when he played Super Smash Flash 2 demo version 0.2. He joined the McLeodGaming Forums in October 2011.
As a developer[]
Trey is on good terms with the other devs, especially Ramsey Dr. Geno Kaid. It was actually Ramsey who backed Trey up when he applied to his position. His contributions for flash effects is the new Kamehameha design, the new Blaster laser design, Farore's Wind and some sword blurs for Link. He does a little balancing due to him needing to put his flash effects directly into the game on his own. However, his impact on how a character works and is played is not that big compared to true balancers.
As a competitive player[]
Trey also is highly known for his humor on the forums and association with Captain Falcon. Trey won the very first official tournament dedicated to SSF2, solidifying his position as one of the most well known and top players. However, Trey rarely engages in online tournaments due to feeling that online is not important when compared to offline which is why his tournament placings are inconsistent. He is currently ranked 118th on the Flash Collective Rankings.
