Sora was the second newcomer confirmed in the trailer and appears as a starter character. His moveset and design are from Kingdom Hearts 2.

Normal Ground Attacks

• Combo attack: 3-hit combo from Chain of Memories.
  
• Down Tilt: A sharp slice with the Kingdom Key.
  
• Down Smash: Sora pivots and spins on the Kingdom Key.
  
• Forward Tilt: Sora attacks forward with a batting motion.
  
• Forward Smash: Sora charges, then dashes forward with the Kingdom Key in front of him.
  
• Up Tilt: Sora spins the Kingdom Key around in his hand a few times, then slices.
  
• Up Smash: Sora thrusts the Kingdom Key up in the air.
  
• Dash Attack: Sora dashes quickly.
  

Aerial Attacks

• Neutral Aerial: Sora twirls around in mid-air.
  
• Forward Aerial: Sora bends back, then snaps his Kingdom Key in front of him.

• Downward Aerial: Sora spins like a top using the Kingdom Key as an axis.
  

Grabs and Throws

• Grab: Sora grabs the opponent.
  
• Pummel: Sora shoves the combatant with the Kingdom Key.
  
• Forward Throw: Sora smacks the opponent with the Keyblade.
  
• Backward Throw: Sora rolls forward, and throws the enemy backwards.
  
• Upward Throw: Sora throws the enemy into the air.
  
• Downward Throw: Sora whacks the opponent into the ground with the Kingdom Key.
