Silver the Hedgehog (シルバー・ザ・ヘッジホッグ) is an anthropomorphic silver hedgehog in the Sonic series of games who first appeared in the critically panned Sonic the Hedgehog (2006), where he hails from at least 200 years in the future. He originally appeared in Super Smash Flash 2 as an Assist Trophy before getting removed in the Beta version of the demo for unknown reasons.

Character description

He is a 14-year-old hedgehog weighing 35 kg and is 100 cm tall (3 ft and 3 inches). His main role in the Sonic games is to protect the future by changing the problems in the past with the help from his psychokinesis, which is his set of psychic powers. He has the ability to time-travel, though this is implied to be done with the assistance of future technology.

In Super Smash Flash 2

As stated above, Silver originally appeared as an Assist Trophy that could be summoned in Super Smash Flash 2. He would yell "Take this!" and then use his psychokinetic powers to trap opponents in place, allowing his summoner to attack the victim repeatedly. However, the victims would have a small degree of control while this is going on. His psychokinesis effect would last about 10 seconds before his powers wear off and he disappears.
