PK Thunder (ＰＫサンダー) is Ness's up special move in Super Smash Flash 2. A ball of electricity emerges from Ness' head. The player loses control of Ness and guides the ball. It can be used as a weak projectile or a way for Ness to recover back to the stage. If the projectile comes in contact with anything, it will disappear. If it is steered into Ness, he will be launched a considerable distance, dealing a huge amount of damage and knockback to anybody who comes in contact with him. If the projectile is steered into the head of an opponent while it is traveling straight downwards, it works as a weak meteor smash. He is able to cancel using PK Thunder by pressing the shield. As of v0.9b, Ness will not enter a helpless state if the ball is destroyed or canceled, but will be put into helpless if the ball connects with Ness.
