PK Flash (ＰＫフラッシュ, Pīkei Furasshu) is Ness's standard special move in Super Smash Flash 2. A green ball of energy emerges from Ness's head. After a few seconds, or when the special attack button is released, the green ball detonates, dealing 12-32% to any opponent whom is hit as well as dealing massive knockback. It is one of the strongest moves/projectiles in the game. It can be slightly controlled by the player using the directional keys prior to detonation. Unlike in the main Super Smash Bros. games, PK Flash will not dissipate if it touches the ground. Also if Ness performs this move in midair, he will not go into a helpless state like he does in the main Super Smash Bros. games. It's best to use this move when opponents are recovering. This causes them to rethink their approach and due to the lingering hitboxes, causing tension when recovering.
