The Mushroom Kingdom is one of the largest kingdoms found in the Mushroom World and is usually the setting of many Mario games. Its monarch is Princess Peach and its capital is Toad Town. Bowser, in numerous occasions, has attempted to take over this kingdom by kidnapping and subsequently marrying Princess Peach, but his plan was always foiled by Mario and his brother Luigi. In Super Smash Flash 2, the Mushroom Kingdom is the name of the first stage in the regular Adventure. Mushroom Kingdom appears also in A Super Mario World as the main world of the cartoon.

The Mushroom Kingdom "planet".

Currently, only three segments of the stage have been revealed. The first part of the level is a typical ground level, as seen throughout the Mario universe. The backgrounds appear to be taken from New Super Mario Bros., but the tiles are custom and the enemies appear to have edited Super Princess Peach sprites. It contains the usual assortment of Goombas, Koopa Troopas, Warp Pipes, Brick Blocks and Piranha Plants.

At the end of the first area, there is an unusual wide Warp Pipe that will bring players to the second portion of the level; an underground level. All that has been revealed is that there will be a fight with Petey Piranha near the beginning, with Boos also making an appearance at some point in the underground segment.

The third and supposedly final area is Bowser's Castle, complete with Bowser's loyal Goombas and Koopas. At the end of the castle, there is a cannon that will supposedly send players to the final boss of this stage. Any other feature, besides those mentioned previously, are currently unknown.
