  • This week I posted three new FA nominations. Now, it would be too pretentious from my part if I simply gave them FA status right away so I really need the opinion of other editors about what they think of the nominated articles. Of course, you may as well open a nomination yourself.

  • falco's down air is a meteor smash, not a spike so you can remove it from the spike page. The devs already said that its pal region melee down air, that is a meteor smash sweet spot and a horizontal knockback sour spot.

    • After thinking about this and looking at what you said Wooly, you gave me 9 different moves from Fox so that gives him enough for semi-clone status along with mobility.

I mean which characters don't have similar moves? Link, Marth and MK having a similar animation to down smash.

By my definition, he has enough of his own move set and he has a different play style from Fox and with different combos. So I will go back to old decision.

Also thanks for the screw up with the tier list Wooly, I will now take whatever you say with a large amount of salt.

  • I wouldn't confirm the Poké Ball thing yet, I asked McLeodGaming about Pichu in the Twitch chat and all they responded with was "there can be more than one Pichu"

  • Pardon my incomplete addition on the Meteor Smash page but I see you've found an error in my edit. Wouldn't a meteor smash be considred an attack that sends opponents downward? I've tested Link's down tilt against multiple opponents in training and had the same result... Unless maybe I'm thinking of another type of knockback? I'm still relatively new to the smash series.

    • Meteor smashes and spikes, both send the opponent down, but have some differences.

A meteor smash sends you down, but you can meteor cancel it to save yourself

A spike, however, sends you down, but at a more diagonal angle and can't be meteor canceled, making them more dangerous.

Link's down tilt was a confirmed spike.

    • Oh, I get it now... My mistake, thx

    • Its okay, the regular Smash community and the flash community use the terms interchangeably when they shouldn't, but some people don't care and do it anyway.

Their is where the confusion comes from and it can be understandable when someone doesn't get it.

  • I am not sure why you thought splitting koopa klaw and flying slam was similar to Luigi and Falco's case. They were for different characters with different properties in their attacks, though I didn't agree with this at all.

For one, they are both his side specials and they need to be spaced in order to work differently. Bounce attack shared the same page with spin dash because they both had the same input. So I am going to request that you fix this problem you made.

Don't look at the mess Byll made to make another one.

    • Fixed. Btw, even though you don't like the splitting of the moves, may I get permission for splitting Falco n' Fox's Reflectors? Most of the techniques there apply only for Fox...

        Loading editor
    • No keep them together, Falco's techniques like pillaring or something will be added to the page.

Constantly splitting pages due to a few differences will lead to new pages with small content, which is not something I want.

Its okay for official game pages due to SSF2 not being finished and some of the games content maybe added in some shape or form.

    • As you see now with what you just changed, with have 3 different pages for the move fireball instead of having 2. BowserBowser's is different then Mario and Luigi's so he would have gotten a page by himself.

  • Pretty self explanatory with the title above, I'm curious where you found those brand new shots for SSF2 Beta, particularly the Jungle Hijinx ones.

About Genki Dama, why were you saying it was one of the weakest attacks on the series? I mean, saying the attack that killed Majin Buu is weak seems like a slander.

    • "Led me to wrong pages", uhh... IDK what happened, the links are working perfectly fine here and all I need to do to see the images is scroll down... Sorry. But I said where they are; General Discussion. Go there, and you'll see them in pages 47 n' 48.

Kaio-ken is a technique, not a transformation, so...?

        Loading editor
    • I already located the images, don't worry about that anymore.

Kaio-ken is indeed a technique, but Super Saiya-jin Blue is a transformation, in a sense, is some sort of mix between them. But because the SSJ Blue is pivotal to maintain the Kaio-ken, I'm leaning more as a powered up transformation.

  • Because we don't have a quick delete template, I see you used the regular template. Allow me to tell you something at this height you should actually already know, but whatever, if you add this tag, you must always excuse a reason about why you think the article should be deleted, check after you saved your edits and you may see the tag has a {{{1}}} at the end of the notice, that's why you must always fill it so this code is not visible. This will prompt me to create the quick delete template, that will not require to excuse a reason and will work well if you detect vandalisms. That player page you marked, well, it wasn't a vandalism nor an act of spam.

    • Well, for me, it quite was. Someone created a player page and wasn't a professional player or close to that, or even a known player. It's like if I did create one player page for me.

  • I saw your post on the Golden Sun wiki, I don't think you should have added that as a part of the main article. That should probably have gone in trivia.
