Ichigo's up special move.
Ichigo uses the cloth on his Zanpakutō to spin it above his head like a helicopter blade. This move has good horizontal recovery when used in midair, but lacks vertical distance. When used on opponents, it hits multiple times; its attack power is increased when he hits his opponent with the last strike. The very last spin of the move has a slightly larger hitbox than the rest of the spins. Opponents above Ichigo will float and stay stationary as if the attack acts as a fan when used on the ground.
- The name of this technique stems from the use of Ichigo's Zanpakutō as a means of flight, hence, "Air Voyage".
- In the Bleach series, this technique did not allow Ichigo to fly. This element was purely added to Super Smash Flash 2 because Ichigo had no way to gain height in the canon series.
- In the manga, this method is normally used only by Ichigo's Inner Hollow, who also will use it like a medieval flail, and throw Zangetsu straight towards the target, while pulling back on the cloth-wrap to prepare to throw Zangetsu once more.
