A home stage is a stage in the Super Smash Flash series or Fraymakers that is most commonly associated with a character, by the game or by players. This is most often due to the stage belonging to the same universe as the character, though they can also be determined by certain game modes. There may be more than one home stage for certain characters.

In Super Smash Flash[]

Due to the Flash size limit of Super Smash Flash, only eight stages are featured, leaving more than half of the playable characters without a home stage for representation.

For the few characters who have stage representation, these stages are mainly where matches take place against said characters in Classic and Adventure. It should be noted that all unlock matches for characters and the All-Star matches take place on the stage Final Destination.

In Super Smash Flash 2[]

In Super Smash Flash 2, each playable character currently has at least one corresponding home stage hailing from their respective universe, and it has been confirmed by developers that this will extend to the full roster.

All characters use all home stages hailing from their universes when fought in Classic and All-Star, with the exceptions of Waluigi, who is not fought on Mario stages in All-Star; Mr. Game & Watch, who is also fought on Urban Champion in Classic; and Sandbag, who is not fought on Final Destination or Meta Crystal in Classic and is fought only on Final Destination in All-Star. Additionally, unlock matches are fought on a home stage, and each fighter present in All-Star Battle events is fought on a unique stage.
