Character description
Edit
Geno, whose real name is the unpronounceable "♥♪!?"; is a star being and a warrior from Star Road, he is one of Mario's partners in the game. He was sent by "a higher authority" to restore peace to Mario's world after it was attacked by the evil Smithy Gang. So he could fight alongside Mario and co., Geno takes the form of a wooden doll originally owned by a Toad known as Gaz. Geno's personality is strongly based on his confidence and attitude. Geno has more of a rebellious attitude and also tends to show more enthusiasm than any other party member, perhaps only second to Mario, but it is difficult to tell as Mario is a silent protagonist throughout the game. Geno's rhapsodic ways may also be due to the fact that he knew what the Smithy Gang was up to long before anyone else in the party or in the game does, and living in Star Road, it's close to home.
In Super Smash Flash 2
Edit
Geno was previously confirmed, now scrapped, to appear as an Assist Trophy in SSF2, he was supposedly to launch his arms as rockets straight to the enemies, possibly, in a similar way to Mega Man's Super Adapter rockets. There is no sign for Geno's return as an AT, as many people prefer him as a playable character rather than non-playable. This means he could possibly appear as an expansion character.
