A Geemer (ギーマー), previously known as a Zoomer, is a recurring alien enemy hailing from the Metroid series.

Character description

Geemers are small, slow-moving creatures, with rounded carapaces bearing numerous spikes protecting their bodies. Underneath these shells, they have beady eyes at the front of their bodies, and also usually have pincers and multiple legs that allow them to climb up walls and ceilings. Most are weak and do not attempt to attack Samus, though certain Geemers actively follow her. They can often be defeated using only basic shots, but most subspecies tend to be more resistant to her weapons, though they are always vulnerable to missiles.

In Super Smash Flash 2, a Geemer appears as a background character on Crateria. Taking its appearance from Super Metroid, it slowly walks in a circle around the inside of a glass tube near the bottom of the stage, walking up the walls and ceiling once reached.
