This article is about Final Destination as it appeared in Super Smash Flash 2. For the Super Smash Flash incarnation, see Final Destination (Super Smash Flash).

Final Destination is a starter stage in Super Smash Flash 2 based on the recurring stage from the Super Smash Bros. games. Final Destination in SSF2 has a completely new form; possessing a rocky surface with a teal path; a huge, spinning circular glass in the middle and a pink crystal protruding from the bottom. It seems to amalgamate several designs from past Final Destinations.

Layout

Similar to its official incarnations, Final Destination is a completely flat, featureless stage and contains no hazards. Its size is also more faithful to the official games being considerably smaller. The background is unique and different, one made specifically for SSF2, starting off with an empty purple space, then changing into a big, swirling galaxy and ultimately leading into a series of traversing white lines before the process starts over.

Music

  • The main music track is titled Final Destination and it is a softer but fast-paced rendition of the main theme from SSF2.
  • The alternate music track is titled Cruel Smash, a synthesized remix of main theme from SSF2.

Tournament legality

This stage is ordinarily a neutral in competitive play. It is a completely flat, featureless stage which allows players to fight in perhaps the purest, if a bit misguided, form of competitive smash.

Because its layout is nearly identical to Waiting Room, they are considered the same stage in the stage striking process under the "FDS Clause".
