A neutral aerial, also known as a neutral air and commonly abbreviated as a n-air, is an aerial attack in Super Smash Flash 2 or Fraymakers that is performed by pressing the attack or grab input with no directional inputs while in midair. It is the only aerial attack that cannot be accessed with the "C-Stick" controls in SSF2 or with the "secondary stick" controls in Fraymakers.

Most neutral aerials are quick moves that hit around the character and consist of multiple hits, while many others simply attack a short distance in front of the player or have sex kick properties. They are primarily used to start and extend combos or interrupt opponents' attacks, as well as to attack out of shield.

In SSF2, attempting to neutral aerial while holding a throwing item throws it forward, and doing so while holding a shooting item fires it.
