Falco Lombardi (ファルコ・ランバルディ) is a member of the Star Fox team and a friendly rival of Fox McCloud. He is an expert pilot and he often leaves the team due to boredom or tiredness. He appears in Super Smash Flash 2 as a playable character.
Character description
In the Star Fox series, Falco is an ace pilot in the Star Fox team with his Arwing skills unmatched by anyone else. He and the rest of Star Fox fought Andross's forces before heading off to Venom and destroying Andross. Soon after the defeat of Andross though, Falco grew restless of the long lasting peace and traveled off far into space. When Andross was resurrected in Sauria, however, Falco helped Fox defeat Andross and soon after returned to the Star Fox team.

Falco was previously confirmed to be a playable newcomer character in Super Smash Flash 2. His reveal was shown during the Day 2 livestream at Super Smash Con 2016. His design is based on his appearance in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U, his voice clips come from Super Smash Bros. Brawl and his moveset is a combination of Super Smash Bros. Melee and Brawl.
Trivia
- Despite debuting as a fighter in Super Smash Bros. Melee, Falco is absent from the first Super Smash Flash (which is based on Melee), this was due to him not having any available sprites online at the time the game was being created. Donkey Kong, Yoshi, Ness, Marth, Peach and Bowser are also absent for the same reasons.
