Classic mode was confirmed during the second McLeodGaming Direct. It is similar to previous iterations of Classic mode, but adds a new twist called the Peril Roulette. This feature will give advantages to the opponent or handicaps to the player, depending on the difficulty setting. Currently, it appears that Classic Mode will include 13 stages in all, with a Taget Test bonus round on stages 4 and 8, a Multi-Man Melee battle on stage 11, Metal Battle on stage 12, and Master Hand on stage 13. Any other information is currently unknown.
