Character description

Buzzy Beetle have powerful shells that are powerful enough to resist fireballs. Despite their name, they resemble more of a Koopa than a beetle. Like Koopas, Buzzy Beetles will hide inside their shells when jumped on. Their shells can be used to kill other enemies and swim better.

Buzzy Beetle first appear in World 4-2, an underground level of Super Mario Bros.. Like a Koopa Troopa, they will hide in their shell when jumped on, and can be kicked around the level. However, Mario and Luigi cannot defeat them with fireballs. After the player completes the game and restarts, all Goombas will be replaced with Buzzy Beetles.

Buzzy Beetle has tons of Mario games such as Super Mario World, New Super Mario Bros. and Paper Mario: Sticker Star.
