The Bumper is an item in Super Smash Flash 2 that first appeared in the original Super Smash Bros. on the Nintendo 64. It was absent in Super Smash Bros. Melee, (thus, it was also absent from Super Smash Flash.) but it returned in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, (hence its appearance in Super Smash Flash 2.) It is a throwing item and, when used, it will create an additional obstacle on the stage. When a character picks up the item and throws it, all characters who collide with it will bounce off it.

Trivia
- Due to complications with some bugs, the Bumpers, Assist Trophies, Poké Balls, and Explosive Tags were disabled on demo v0.9b and has been added in patch 0.9.1.1965.
